So I've been invited to Google+ and I've got to say, I like what I see so far. The interface is clean and pretty streamlined. I like the idea of Circles--Facebook's group pages have always seemed a bit wonky to me; this seems to be an improvement. I did a brief "Hangout" with a friend and the interface could definitely rival Skype's.
It looks like something that might attract those that are scared off by the gossipy nature of Facebook. Certainly, Google's version of the newsfeed isn't very different, but when you're on Facebook, that's the only "view" you ever really see. Google+ seems like more of hub for all computer activities.
